Global Brain Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, "Global Brain") announces that it will commence operation of a new CVC fund, the "Sony Financial Ventures & Global Brain Frontier Fund" (hereinafter, the "New Fund"), with an initial size of 10 billion yen, under a joint venture company (hereinafter, the "New Company") established through a joint investment with Sony Financial Ventures Inc. (hereinafter, "Sony Financial Ventures").

The New Fund, whose operation is now commencing, will utilize an AI-driven new CVC model to enhance the efficiency of information gathering and analysis, and will actively pursue diverse investment opportunities. Furthermore, by combining the financial and insurance business assets held by the Sony Financial Group with Global Brain's domestic and international network, it will promote business co-creation with startups across diverse industrial fields. Going forward, investment activities through the New Fund will commence sequentially.
